Poetry Potluck

We believe that poetry is meant to support life. You know what else supports life? FOOD! Also, community!

Our motto: dishes or dollars!
NoHoPoCo will provide utensils, plates and bowls, and napkins, as well as a couple of dishes to share (because you know, potluck)

You are encouraged to bring something to eat (dishes!) that you made or bought, but we know that isn’t always possible. Instead of a dish, you may also bring cash (dollars!) to help NoHoPoCo bring even more tasty food to next month’s potluck.

We want to support our hosts at The Deuce, so please purchase beverages at the bar as you are able.

If you feel inspired, bring some poems to share as well.

For more info about our potlucks, go here.

Open Mic + Cori Stenning-Barnes

Doors and sign ups at 7 PM. Open mic begins at 7:30!

During our open mic, each month we bring you a spotlight feature from a local poet. This month we feature Cori Stenning-Barnes!

Cori Stenning-Barnes is a poet from the wilds of Western Massachusetts and an astronaut in a parallel universe where space and math are not so tragically intertwined. Their survival is contingent on laughter, soup, and the love of their extended poetry family. They are the 2018 Grand Slam Champion of Northampton Poetry and competed at the 2018 National Poetry Slam and VoxPop.

NOTE: Due to New Year’s Day landing on a Tuesday, all NoHoPoCo January events are moved back a week. Normally, a open mic will be a Second Tuesday event.
