Doors and sign ups at 7 PM. Open mic begins at 7:30!

During our open mic, each month we bring you a spotlight feature from a local poet. This month we feature Michael Medeiros!

Mike Medeiros writes poems. He lives in a small old brown cabin-like house in Amherst that is overly full of books, musical instruments, kitchenware, and antique store castoffs. He doesn't own a cat, but hung out a lot with one named Oscar that wandered around being friendly and eating chipmunks in Emily Dickinson's yard. His clothing usually has clay on it because he likes to make flower pots. He frequents many libraries and grows things in gardens and listens to bands like Motorhead and Shonen Knife and walks on chalk cliffs in England then smuggles back pieces of the chalk to draw with in America. Today he will read to you and only you.

Venue and stage are wheelchair accessible.
