After our open mic, each month we bring you a spotlight feature from a local poet. This month we feature Megan McDermott!

About our feature:
Megan McDermott is a poet and Episcopal priest based in Amherst, Mass. In 2018, she graduated from Yale Divinity School with a Master's of Divinity degree. While there, she also studied with Yale's Institute of Sacred Music, an interdisciplinary program dedicated to religion and the arts. As an undergraduate, similar interests collided for Megan at Susquehanna University, where she double-majored in Creative Writing and Religious Studies and discovered passions for poetry and preaching. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Christian Century, Rust + Moth, Psaltery & Lyre, Rogue Agent Journal, Rock & Sling, The Windhover, and Amethyst Review, among others. You can keep up with her on Twitter @megmcdermott92.
