Every first Tuesday in 2019, nohopoco will be bringing you a special poet to lead a workshop. After the workshop, our guest poet gives a private reading of their own work. In August we are thrilled to invite Patrick Roche to teach a generative workshop.

About the workshop: Transformation: The Self through the Lens of Another

Persona, mythology, animals, aging, growth—we will explore identity and personal narrative through the ways we change and grow, the ways we can become another, and the ways that we sometimes uncover more about ourselves by taking some distance. How can your birthday turn you into someone else? Come find out!

To attend this workshop, please sign up in advance through the online system ( or contact Catherine Weiss ( directly, because seats are limited!
